Hemorrhoids aren't contagious. They're just an acquired environmental condition, caused by misuse of or poor care of your body. 50 % of people over 50 have the problem and are looking for how to get rid of hemroids. They almost certainly got them as a result of one or more of 4 factors:
1. Lack of dietary fiber in the diet. This can lead to irregular bowel movements and hard stool. Straining to pass hard stool does harm to rectal tissues. Over time, this damage shows itself as hemroids. If you are not having 1-3 bowel movements daily, if your stool is hard lumps or not easy to pass, then you aren't consuming enough dietary fiber. 2. Insufficient exercise. Our bodies are wonderful, remarkably adaptable and efficient machines. We lose hard healthy muscle mass and add more fatty flab.
3. Poor diet. An excessive amount of low fiber processed foods, too much of your caloric intake in saturated fats, and not enough vitamins, minerals, friendly bacteria and phytochemical substances that the body requires. This weakens the body and its tissues. Hemorrhoids are one of the results.
Many people aren't getting an adequate amount of the nutrients that only originate from whole foods or dietary supplements. Therefore our bodies lack the nourishment necessary to keep us strong and healthy. We need to eat healthy diets or take many supplements in order to avoid these deficiencies.
4. Sitting too long in one position. This has a tendency to disrupt proper blood circulation to posterior tissues, causing injury to veins and adjacent flesh. It can result in varicose vein effects and hemorrhoids. If you must sit, move around. Stand up and move about frequently. And/or get a very good cushion that does not disrupt normal blood flow.
Whether or not you will get hemorrhoids will depend mainly on how well you care for your body. Hemroids are a consequence of poor body maintenance, much like obesity, type 2 diabetes, ulcers and quite a few other too-common ailments.
It's far better to take the time and expend the effort on maintaining your body in good condition, than it is to be worrying about how to heal hemorrhoids or how to get rid of hemroids!
"Preventive maintenance" is much less expensive (and less unpleasant) than "breakdown maintenance"!
